Universal clamps (1 bolt hole)

The main difference from analogs is in the shape of the mounting platform-base and the number of mounting holes. The mount does not expand at the base and the mounting pad does not protrude beyond the dimensions of the mount itself. A hole for only 1 bolt / self-tapping screw is provided in the mounting platform.

This design has its pros and cons. The main advantages: the fastening is cheaper than analogs with the same working diameter due to the saving of material that could be spent on the side protrusions in the base for additional holes.

Also, such a retainer takes up less space on the surface on which it is installed. And you only need to drill one hole.

As for the shortcomings, fixing the latch itself to the surface by only 1 bolt / self-tapping screw is less reliable than 2, as in other models. All the load will fall on a single attachment point. At the same time, the fasteners themselves are quite strong and calmly withstand the load, for example, in the form of metal scrap. But you need to pay special attention to the installation of the retainer, make sure that the surface is suitable for securing a load with this weight.
