Lashing Straps "Double Grip"

The characteristic feature of th «Double Grip» polyurethane lashing straps is the presence of a pair of consecutive stop clips at both ends of the lashing strap, the so-called grips, through which the end of the strap is threaded through elongated oval holes located along the entire length of the strap and is thus fastened.

When fastened, the stop clips form a firm connection with the lashing strap itself. Thanks to this, the fastening of luggage, equipment, tools to the vehicle with the help of “Double grip” belts is very reliable. Lashing straps make it possible to avoid the movement of the load during movement, as well as the risk of accidental overturning and falling out.

The strap can be fastened using two ends-grippers on both sides at the same time or only one. The fastening of the lashing strap per grip has a small play determined by the length of the fastening hole. Fastening with two grips is more dense, reliable, it will not loosen during cargo transportation.

The elastic polyurethane of which the fastening strap is made does not scratch or damage the surface of the transported object. And the ability of polyurethane to stretch without permanent deformation allows you to smooth out loads during shocks and turns while driving a car, snowmobile, ATV or other vehicle.

All «Double Grip» lashing straps are made of frost-resistant polyurethane. They can be used in any weather and even in frost down to -50°C. Polyurethane does not absorb dirt and moisture, is easy to clean, does not stretch when wet.

Due to the high resistance of polyurethane to sea water, ozone and UV rays, the «Double Grip» lashing straps are almost ideal for use on marine vessels, underwater work, sea travel and recreation on the water.

Unlike rubber products, they are not subject to aging, do not crack over time, are resistant to mold, corrosion, and non-toxic. Fastening belts made of polyurethane are highly resistant to petroleum products, including oils and gasoline.

Strap length

Strap width

The widths of the «Double Grip» lashing straps range from 13 mm to 26 mm. Wider belts also have a greater thickness parameter. Accordingly, they are used to secure heavier objects.

Strap color

How to fasten the «Double grip» strap

To fasten the lashing strap, take one free end and thread both gripper stops into the fastening hole. Next, thread the end stop with the fastening hole adjacent to the first. Align the latch in the hole until it stops firmly.

Such fastening for one grip makes it possible to obtain a loop of various diameters on the lashing strap and use it, for example, for mooring a boat on a peg (art. 33-00-080). Having made loops at both ends of the belt, you can use it as a clamp for equipment on the trunk or for fastening loads together.

With this method, it is possible to obtain a fastener with two loops and use objects of different diameters to connect together. This is convenient, for example, when attaching a thermos or flashlight to a bag, if the latter does not have a corresponding pocket.
